Reserve 30|XC SL 29" Carbon DT 180 Carbon Spoke CL Wheelset

Our stiffest, lightest mountain wheels. The SL version of 30|XC features carbon spokes and 30g of weight savings per rim. This is the race setup ridden by Cannondale Factory Racing. A special carbon layup and greater use of high modulus fiber make our SL rims lighter and with identical strength characteristics and ride quality compared to 28|XC.

We took everything we learned from our World Cup Winning 28|XC platform to develop the best riding, strongest XC wheelset on the market. 

Cannondale Factory Racing, one of the most exciting teams in XC, will be racing the new 30|XC on the UCI World Cup circuit this year. Follow along as Charlie Aldridge, Jolanda Neff, Luca Martin, Ana Santos and Cole Punchard push Reserve wheels to the top of the podium.

30|XC Wheels deliver climbing efficiency and descending performance for the needs of today’s World Cup XC racing and modern XC bikes. With steeper and more technical courses, the world’s best riders need more control and strength, without compromising on weight.

Vonoa carbon spokes are 30% lighter than traditional steel spokes and deliver a stiff, responsive ride. Team riders say the carbon spokes feel very planted, and the stiffer spokes reduce spoke wind up, which makes it feel like they can accelerate faster. 

Our lightest rims are exclusively paired with the lightest hubs. DT Swiss 180s are the benchmark for lightweight, high-performance hubs, with worldwide support for driver bodies and small parts.

We increased the spoke count from 24 to 28. Paired with the new rim, this provides improved strength and durability at a lower weight.

Internal Rim Width
A wider profile more closely aligns the tire sidewall with the bead of the rim. This provides additional support and increased grip on the trail.
